Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Philippians 4:4-5
Hampton Park has quickly become one of my favorite places to frequent in Charleston. Just a short walk from work and I am surrounded by beauty that infuses my spirit with joy.
With negativity and heartache dominating the headlines, as a follower of Christ, it's imperative to unplug. Only when I make an intentional effort to disconnect from the world and plug into Christ, do I create fertile soil in my soul where joy can take root and grow.
Rejoice Paul instructs. Not once but twice. As Christians we have countless reasons to rejoice. To name a few: salvation, forgiveness, grace, redemption, hope. What Christ has bestowed on us should fill our souls with joy that bubbles from within and spills over to the lives of those around us.
Lord, make me a conduit of joy to those who need to know Your love, hope, and peace.
