About Dawn

Dawn Wallis is a writer, speaker, and former columnist who loves telling stories overflowing with hope, heart, and Southern humor. Her writing background includes copywriting, guest blog posts, and Bible studies for women.

After many years of desiring to write a novel, and with the support and encouragement of her husband, Nic, she finally achieved her dream of becoming a published author.

Originally from Virginia, she now calls the Golden Isles of Georgia home, where she soaks up sunshine, chases beauty in everyday moments, and finds joy in flowers, butterflies, bike rides, and salty coastal air. She is also a proud mom to three grown children and one spoiled, ahem, well-loved fur child.

Dawn’s greatest passion is sharing the hope of Jesus. He is the One who redeemed her story and brought beauty from brokenness, and it is her joy to encourage others to hold onto that same hope.
