Rhyming in the Waiting
I'm currently waiting to hear back from a pitch I made to a literary agent in February. While it is maddening, wondering, waiting, and rehearsing scenarios, I continue to tap into my creative side. I haven't attempted writing a poem in what seems like forever. But this little flower touched my with a tint of whimsy and I couldn't resist. Morning Glory
Every morning I'm greeted by these dainty morning glories blooming right outside of my bedroom window. I recently read that these beauties bloom and wilt within 12 hours. I can't think of a more powerful reminder of the fragility of life. James 4:14 reads, "yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life?
